Bullpadel Vertex 05: every version compared
The Bullpadel Vertex 05 comes in five versions across 2026 and 2027. The shape, weight, balance, feel and face of each, from published specs.
Published
The Bullpadel Vertex 05 is one name on five rackets: four 2026 versions and a 2027 model. They differ more than the name suggests: most are built for power, one leans to control, and one is lighter. This comparison uses the specs Bullpadel and retailers publish; we haven't play-tested these rackets.
| Vertex 05 | Shape | Weight | Balance | Core feel | Face |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2026 | Diamond | 365–375 g | High | Medium | Carbon 12K |
| Geo 2026 | Diamond | 365–375 g | High | Hard | Carbon 3K |
| Hybrid 2026 | Hybrid | 365–375 g | Low | Medium | Carbon 12K |
| W 2026 | Diamond | 350–360 g | Medium | Medium | Fibrix |
| 2027 | Diamond | 365–375 g | About 25.5 cm, no category | Medium | Carbon 12K |
Every version is 38 mm thick, has a rough face and is made for advanced or professional players.
Palafit's scores for the 2026 versions
| 2026 version | Power | Control | Forgiveness | Comfort | Handling |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Vertex 05 | High | Low | Low | Low | Low |
| Geo | High | Low | Low | Low | Low |
| Hybrid | Medium | High | Low | Medium | Medium |
| W | Medium | Low | Low | Medium | Medium |
Palafit scores each racket from 1 to 9 from its published specs, and shows the scores as low, medium or high. The 2027 isn't in this table: Bullpadel doesn't publish its balance category, and balance drives much of control, comfort and handling. Each racket page has the full scores, every spec's original wording and its source.
Vertex 05 2026: the power version
A diamond shape, a high balance and 365–375 g all point the same way: power on full swings, at the cost of control and quick handling at the net. Bullpadel calls its feel "intermedio" (medium), with an EVA core and a 12K carbon face. It's Juan Tello's racket.
Vertex 05 Geo 2026: the harder one
Padel Nuestro, a retailer, lists the Geo with the same shape, weight and balance, but a hard core ("dureza: dura") and a 3K carbon face. The harder core is why it scores lower on comfort and forgiveness. The 3K face isn't softer or stiffer than 12K: the K number is the size of the carbon fibre bundles, which lab tests found has little direct effect on how a racket plays. Its specs come from one retailer, so its page marks them "one source". It's Pablo Cardona's racket.
Vertex 05 Hybrid 2026: the control version
The Hybrid is the only Vertex 05 that isn't a diamond, and Bullpadel gives it a low balance ("bajo"). Together they make it the only version that scores high on control, with medium handling and comfort. It weighs the same 365–375 g.
Vertex 05 W 2026: the lighter one
The W is about 15 g lighter (350–360 g) with a medium balance instead of a high one, so it's quicker in the hands and scores better on comfort and handling than the 2026, while keeping the diamond shape. Its face is "Fibrix", Bullpadel's name for it; the published specs don't say what it's made of, so Palafit doesn't guess. Bullpadel makes it for advanced and professional players, and it's Delfi Brea's racket.
Vertex 05 2027: what changed
Bullpadel publishes the same shape, weight, feel and face for the 2027 as for the 2026: a diamond, 365–375 g, "intermedio" feel and X-Tend Carbon 12K. For balance it gives only "approx. 25.5 cm", with no category. Bullpadel's numbers don't follow the usual cut-offs (it calls the 2026's 25.4 cm high and the Hybrid's 25 cm low), so the number alone doesn't say which category the 2027 is in. On the specs Bullpadel publishes, the 2027 matches the 2026 everywhere except balance, which it gives only as a number.
Which Vertex 05?
- For power, with consistent technique: the Vertex 05 2026 or 2027, or the Geo for a harder feel.
- For the Vertex name with more control: the Hybrid.
- For a lighter, quicker diamond: the W.
Compare the Vertex 05, Hybrid and W side by side, read about racket shapes, or take the quiz to see whether a Vertex 05 fits how you play.
